MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of Derrick Ballet Conservatory is to preserve the ballet community by honoring the unique spirit and values it cultivates.

Inspired

To stimulate and motivate with the desire to learn proper dance technique and share the love of performance and success.

Dedication

To have interest and enthusiasm to participate in and promote the love of dance.

Joy

To experience the delight of participating in something that brings you happiness and to help spread that feeling of joy not only within the school but in life.

Humility

It is an important character trait that we must diligently work to promote and maintain in our dancers. Humility is marked by modesty and an unassuming attitude. It is the opposite of pride and arrogance, and when a confident dancer practices humility, it creates a winning package, on and off stage.

Professionalism

To provide a standard of education and training that prepares the dancers with a knowledge and skill of proper dance etiquette and technique and the ability to follow strict codes of conduct and commitment while respecting their fellow dancers.
